Wintle, a poet who lived in the late 19th and early 20th century aptly summarised the effect of our thinking on the outcomes and the expectations we have in life in his famous poem "Thinking" also known as "The Man Who Thinks He Can". The essence of a person is not to be measured by his or her outward appearance but by that which lies deep within the mind. The measure of a man is his mind and the thoughts that dominate it.
